Clyde A. Smith, 69, a native of Pasadena, Calif., and resident of Magnolia Springs for the past 8 years, died Friday, March 8, 2013.
Clyde worked for over 30 years as a camera dolly operator in the motion picture industry. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Clyde is survived by his wife, (a Fairhope native) Jan Knickerbocker Smith of Magnolia Springs; son, Brent A. (Tracey) Smith of Reseda, Calif; three brothers, Wayne (Angela) Smith, Reseda, Calif, Dale (Linda) Smith Agoura, Calif., and Tyson Mentzer, Tacoma, Wash; two sisters, Randi Smith of Arizona and Tanya Joffrain of Texas; two grandsons, Tyler Smith and Cody Smith and other relatives and friends. The family invites everyone to attend a celebration of Clyde’s life at the family home on Sunday, March 10, 2013 beginning at 2 p.m. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home & Crematory of Daphne.
