DAUPHIN ISLAND - In a press conference this morning, the US Coast Guard identified the boaters who lost their lives in Saturday's regatta as Kris Beal, 27, of Pineville, Louisiana, and Robert Delany, 72, of Madison, Mississippi.

The search is still ongoing for four missing boaters, who have now been in the water for almost three full days.

Captain Duke Walker said teams have now covered more than 3,000 square miles which includes all of Mobile Bay. Walker said he was doing his best to utilize all the assets at his disposal, which now includes dive teams.

“We are largely dictated by policy,” Walker said. “I am looking at sunset Thursday as being the shift from a search and rescue to a recovery mission.”

We will continue to post any new developments of this story.
