Harold Coburn, 71, born July 4, 1938 in Malbis, a lifetime resident of Baldwin County, died Monday, June 14, 2010 from lung cancer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruth Coburn of Robertsdale; five brothers, Charlie, George A., Clifford, Arlin and Billy; and three sisters, Olive Wyrosdick, Daisy Wyrosdick and Bobbie Ruth James.
Survivors include four children, James and Robin Coburn and their daughter, Bobbie Lee, Eddie Coburn and his children, Jessica and Chris, Leslie and Lisa Coburn and their children, Zachary, Brianna and Miley. Lynn and Kirk Hoven and their son, Nicholas all of Mobile; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ella Ruth Coburn Salter of Robertsdale, Viola Coburn and Dean Rodgers of Virginia Beach, Va.; and sisters-in-law, Inge Coburn and Lois Coburn of Robertsdale; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 16 at Mack Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 17 at Mack’s Funeral Home in Robertsdale with the Rev. John Schell of Summerdale officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Cemetery in Robertsdale.
Pallbearers are his nephews, Ronnie Salter, Clayton Salter, Robbie Salter, David Salter, Chris Salter and Robert Salter.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Harvest Church c/o the Rev. John Schell, Highway 59 South, Summerdale.
