Creighton Allen Cockrell, 78, of Foley, died Friday, June 27, 2008 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope.
He was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Foley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Cockrell and Ruth Allen Cockrell.
Survivors include his wife, Bettye Jean Ackerman Cockrell; two daughters, Gail Cockrell (David) Graham of Bivens, Texas, and step-daughter, Vicky Roper of Foley; son, Steve (Rita) Cockrell of Millongton, Tenn.; sister, Rita Cockrell Whittle of Maryville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1 at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Foley with Father Paul Zoghby officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.
Arrangements are by Pine Rest Funeral Home Inc., Foley.
