FOLEY, Ala. — Christina (Holmes) Coffee and Charles E. Wharton of Booneville, Ark. are proud to announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bonnie Atchley of Greenwood, Ark. and the late late Billy D. Holmes. She is a 1988 graduate of Greenwood High School and 2000 graduate of the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. She is the mother of two children, Ann Smith of Magazine, Ark. and Brian Smith of Booneville. She is currently the office manager for the Booneville Democrat.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Sue Young of Booneville, Ark. and the late Willis Ray Wharton. He is a 1986 graduate of Booneville High School and a veteran of the United States Navy. He is the father of three children, Bryce, Brigham and Aaron Wharton of Ogden, Utah. He is currently employed by Swift Transportation as a Dollar Tree dedicated truck driver.
The couple will exchange vows in a 4 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 6 at Grace Church, 1050 North Plum, Booneville. Following the ceremony a reception will be held in the fellowship hall.
