Colbert S. Thompson, age 69, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at his residence.
He worked in the chair and stool assembly line (retired) at Den-tal-Ez. He is survived by his wife, Sally C. (Stevens) Thompson of Bay Minette; children, Tammy K. (Alan) McDonald and Brenda L. Thompson both of Bay Minette; one brother, Robert Thompson of Grand Bay; three grandchildren, Sandy K.(Keegan) Homan; Victoria McDonald and Nathan Sprinkle; one great-granddaughter, Allyisa Homan and nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 3, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Perdido Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 from 6 until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Steve Chance, Red Booth, Mack Newman, J.C. Booth, Ricky Bacon, Billy Saranthus, Lowell Isabell and Danny Stevens. Funeral arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
