GULF SHORES, Ala. — Connexion Technologies officially opened its newest facility in Gulf Shores on Sept. 3.

The center will house several offices of Connexion Technologies as well as operational facilities for Accelera Services, LLC, an affiliated company that supports service providers who operate on Connexion Technologies’ networks.   

“We’re very proud of our expanded and committed presence in the Gulf Shores area,” said Michelle Stancil, Connexion Technologies’ vice president and general manager of the Gulf Coast region.

“This state of the art facility ensures that our preferred service providers, such as SmartResort, who does business as Beyond Communications, can continue to offer the best services with limitless bandwidth on our network.” 

The new Gulf Shores office houses a regional call center and a network operations center which is operated by Accelera Services, as well as enable Connexion Technologies to provide additional network infrastructure support for its properties in the region.

Connexion Technologies, who acts as a fiber-optic infrastructure provider and as a service provider manager, has formed a relationship with a variety of properties in the region including Cottages on the Greene, Escapes to the Shores, Craft Farms, The Beach Club and The Wharf.

The new Gulf Shores facility employs more than 80 professionals, making it one of the largest communications employers in Baldwin County.
