ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The consumer science class at Robertsdale High, which is taught by Alecia Benton, is selling a variety of fruit boxes through Nov. 30.
“We are getting the fruit through the Florida Farm Bureau,” Benton said.
In addition to naval oranges and red grapefruit, there will be tangelos, apples and other varieties of fruit to choose from.
“You can get a box of just oranges or grapefruit, or a mixed box that contains several varieties of fruit,” Benton said.
The fruit boxes come in containers of a bushel or two-fifths of a bushel, with the prices adjusted accordingly.
To order your box of Holiday fruit, you may contact Benton through RHS.
