Estelle Gene Cooper, 87, a native of Magee, Miss., a former resident of Silverhill and a resident of Prattville, died Sunday, April 5 , 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.I. Cooper and son, Jimmy Cooper.
Survivors include daughter, Peggy Harrell of Prattville; three sisters, Sue Bishop of Texas, Nelda Lewis and Faye Lewis, both of Magee, Miss.; two brothers, Kenneth Garner of Magee, Miss., and Tom Garner of Forrest, Miss.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 8 at Mack Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Taylor officiating. Burial followed at the Silverhill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jason Cooper, Justin Grems, Josh Grems, Stennis Havard, Frank Escue and Gary Cooper.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Baptist Health Care Foundation, Baptist Hospice Fund, P.O. Box 241647, Montgomery, AL 36177-7221.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
