Pat B. Council, 81, a native of Grove Hill and a resident of Silverhill, died Monday, March 1, 2010.
He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 24 years of service; was former owner of Pat’s Auto Parts in Robertsdale and was a long time and active member of Robertsdale First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil Council and Royce Council.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie Council of Silverhill; two sons, Robert Council of Cary, N.C., and Mark Council of Silverhill; daughter, Linda Worsham of Irvington, Va.; sister, Wilda Knight of Grove Hill; and six grandchildren, Sara Council, Garrett Council, Roanna Council, Camille Reding, Erin Council and Daniel Reding.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 3 at Mack Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 4 at Robertsdale First Baptist Church. Burial begins at 11:45 a.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola.
