Alexander Crow "Connie" Council, 80, a native of Daphne and a resident of William F. Green Veterans Home, Bay Minette, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007 at a local hospital.
He was a Real Estate Broker in Baldwin County for over 50 years, served on the Baldwin County Board of Realtors, board of directors Mobile Sales and Marketing Execs, member of Fairhope Yacht Club, member of Episcopalian Vestry and a past president of the Kiwanis Club and member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Kathleen Harrison "Kitty" Council.
Survivors include his wife, Vivien Council of Fairhope; two brothers, James M. (Julie) Council of Daphne and Teddie L. (Betty) Council of Fairhope; nieces, nephews and stepchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home with funeral services at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Montrose Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
