DAPHNE, Ala. — The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Candidates Forum for Baldwin County Commissioner candidates May 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Daphne United Methodist’s Community Life Center.
The event is open to the public and will last from 7-8 p.m. The church is located at 2401 Main Street in Daphne.
Guidelines for the forum will include: candidates will answer the public’s questions. Each candidate will speak only for themselves. When answering questions, each candidate will speak to the issues. A stop watch will be used with a thirty second warning for answers.
Questions will be accepted the evening of the event in writing – there will not be microphones set up for public comments. The attendees will be expected to show respect to the candidates. There will be no yelling, rude comments, name calling or booing. Signs will not be allowed to be held in the audience. Pamphlets and buttons may be handed out and worn.
