Cozetta (Holmes) Driskell, age 78, born in Westville, Fla. and a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Oakwood Nursing Home.
She was an inspector for 25 years (retired) with Standard Furniture Manufacturing Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilbert Driskell and son, Wayne Driskell. She is survived by one son, Kenny (Lisa) Driskell, Bay Minette; two daughters, Carolyn Johnson, Bay Minette; and Lynn (James) Greek, Bay Minette; six grandchildren, Caris Mayo Bryars, Joshua Driskell, Datia Collum, Brock Johnson, Chrissy Burnham and Justin Driskell and five great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Holmes, Lucedale, Miss; and two sisters, Kate Fowler, Grand Bay, and Maxine Brooks, Pensacola. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendell Hadley officiating. Interment will follow at McCullough Cemetery, McCullough, Ala. Pallbearers are Brian Bryars, James Greek, Richard Fowler, Joey Collum, Breeze Shehan and Frank Mayo. The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
