Wilma Faye Crawford, 66, born Dec. 7, 1915 in Wilsonville, a resident of Atmore, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.
She retired from Vanity Fair Mills.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Rufus and Eula Winnie Stamps Spearman; her husband, H.I. “Buck” Crawford; and a sister, Blanche Farr.
Survivors include a son, Leon S. (Joan) Crawford of Atmore; daughter, Faye (Chester) Turner of Stockton; brother, Charles Spearman of Columbiana; step-daughter, Edna Kirksey-Dixon of Stockton; three grandchildren, John (Renee) Crawford of Canoe, Catherine Turner of Glendale, Ariz., and Vickie (Chris) Harmon of Stockton; and four great-grandchildren, Zander, Gabe and Levi Crawford of Canoe, and Alex Harmon of Stockton.
Graveside services were held Friday, Nov. 6 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Elder Glen Wardrop and the Rev. Glen Whitfield officiating. Visitation was held Thursday, Nov. 5 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Arrangements were made by Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Inc., Atmore.
