Daisy Belle Jeter, 92, a native and lifelong resident of Mineola, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2011 in Mineola.
She attended the Little River Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Agee Jeter; son, James Harvey Jeter; her parents, Frank and Janie Ruth Hayles Davis; brother, George Lee Davis; three sisters, Nannie Sheets, Mazie Chavies and Lula Dell Harris; and son-in-law, O.W. Bryars.
Survivors include a son, Robert “Bo” (Lynn) Jeter of Mineola; six daughters, Louise Marie Jeter and Joyce Lanell Bryars, both of Mineola, Frances (Cecil) Willis of Goodway, Shirley (Sam) Hill of Mineola, Shelby (Jerry) Hayles of Uriah and Margaret (Tony) Richerson of Bay Minette; 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, a number of great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lenora Jones of Splendora, Texas.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12 at the Little River Holiness Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13 at the church with the Rev. Joe B. Roberson, the Rev. D.L. Harville and the Rev. John Hammond officiating. Burial will follow at Mineola Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Frank Bryars, Timmy Bryars, Ricky Jennings, Danny Jeter, Michael Jeter, Jarrod Richerson, Matthew Jeter and Heath Bryars.
