Elnor Sarah Hinote Daniels, 93, died Friday, March 21, 2008 in Lake Charles, La., at the home of her daughter.
She would have been 94 years old March 27. She was born in Baldwin County, the youngest of seven children and moved to Memphis, Tenn., when she was 14. She worked at Kay’s Bakery in Memphis for 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles M. Daniels and Oren L. Dickey; and siblings, Mertie Dawson, Pearlie Peterson, Lucy Kelly, Herbert Hinote, Sherman Hinote and Rufus Hinote.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty (Richard) Darling of Lake Charles, La.; son, Charles (Dorothy) Daniels of Robertsdale; grandchildren, Linda (Brian) Robinson, Eric Darling, Sara Darling (Slade) Spare, Anthony “Ty” (Debbie) Daniels and Corey Daniels; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Alex Robinson, Caton Darling, Lindsey and Allison Daniels; many nieces and nephews; and special friend Dorles Starr of Rosinton.
Graveside services were held Monday, March 24 at the Baldwin Memorial Cemetery in Robertsdale.
