Helen Schneider Daniels, a former resident of Bay Minette, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, in Mobile.
She was a member of the Quest Study Club, the Wesleyan Service Guild, and First United Methodist Church of Bay Minette where she taught Sunday School for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.V. Daniels, well known Baldwin County educator.
Survivors include two daughters Carolyn (Dr. C. Kendall) Clarke of Mobile and Suzanne Catlin of Fairhope; four grandchildren, Dr. Valerie (Dr. Scott) Berger of Winston-Salem, N.C., Thomas Woodson Catlin, Jr. of New Orleans, Daniel Marshall Catlin of Washington, D.C., Helen Elizabeth Catlin of Fairhope; three great-grandchildren, Anna Carolyn, Robert Clarke and Lydia Elizabeth Berger of Winston-Salem; sister, Grace June (Warren) Stebbins of Citronelle; four nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28 at the First United Methodist Church in Bay Minette with the Rev. George Sedberry officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Daniels Scholarship in care of the Community Foundation of South Alabama, P.O. Box 990, Mobile, AL 36601.
