Danner's book aimed at reducing financial stress

FAIRHOPE, Ala. — On Friday, May 22, Page & Palette, 32 S. Section St. in Fairhope, will host author Kathy Danner. She will sign her book “EnJOY: Freedom from Financial Stress,” from 4–6 p.m.

The book shows mothers especially how to live on one income and to climb out of debt.

Danner gives advice on creating a budget in easy steps, as well as learning to nurture an attitude of gratitude.

When asked why she wrote the book, she responded, “Seven out of 10 moms pay the bills (according to an American Express 2001 survey), and nine out of 10 moms do the shopping, so moms feel some serious financial stress. I went from living on a six-figure combined income to living on $34,000 a year. My new book can provide tips and tools along with encouragement to moms who want to fight financial stress permanently.”

Danner is a freelance writer, and has published articles for MomSense, Simply Home, True Wealth, Associated Content, Christian Work at Home Moms, Alabama Living, Search Warp, Inspired Yards, Green Thumb and Ezine. She is married and is the mother of two.
