Danny W. “Buck” McDoniell, 73, a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Gulf Shores, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011.
Mr. McDoniell was retired from Alabama Dry Docks and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jessie McDoniell of Gulf Shores; daughter, Lynn (Johnny) Hallford of Silverhill; son, Don (Colleen) McDoniell of Summerdale; three grandsons, Donnie (Allison) McDoniell, Jacob and Jeremy McDoniell; two granddaughters, Ashley (Jesse) Dahlberg and Sara (Chuck) Chivington; and five great-grandchildren, Michael and Alex Dahlberg, Caselyn Lancaster, Emma Chivington and Brodie McDoniell
A graveside funeral service and burial will be held Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, at 11 a.m., at the Rock Cemetery, Robertsdale. A visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Mack Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 S. Greeno Road, Fairhope, AL 36532.
