DAPHNE, Ala. – Tyrell Holloway rushed 19 times for 124 yards and four touchdowns as Daphne gained over 400 yards of offense in a 41-13 win over Foley in the second round of the 6A state playoffs.

Holloway scored on runs of 15, 5, 10 and 15 to lead the No. 2 Trojans' ground attack.

"Our offensive line did another great job," Daphne coach Glenn Vickery said. "Tyrell and T.J. (Yeldon) and Israel (Lamprakes) ran really hard. We had three guys who just played lights out, and this time of year you need to be playing lights out."

Daphne jumped out to a 21-0 lead and Foley added two touchdowns before halftime. The Lions missed an extra point and trailed 21-13 at the break.

Daphne ate up nearly 6 minutes on a 91-yard drive to start the second half. Holloway's 10-yard scoring run put the Trojans up 28-13 to seal the win.

Daphne quarterback Russ Mosley completed 6 of 8 passes for 114 yards and two touchdown throws to Johnathan McGaster.

Darius Powell had a touchdown pass to Bob Pugh and Kalif Koen had a touchdown run for Foley, who finished 8-4.

The Trojans (12-0) will host Wetumpka in the quarter-finals next Friday at 7 p.m. Wetumpka defeated Prattville 26-23 on Friday.
