DAPHNE, Ala.—Daphne High School’s agriscience department and lake Forest Garden Club will have their plant sale — rain or shine — Oct. 30 and Nov. 6 from 7 to 10 a.m. at the greenhouses behind the high school on Lawson Road.

Garden Club members will be on hand to assist with flower choices; students will load the plants into patrons’ vehicles and show the results of their horticultural knowledge.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to support agriscience programs — sending students to compete in career-development events, to attend the state convention and to enhance community beautification.
