BAY MINETTE, Ala. — The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Daphne man Wednesday who allegedly operated a methamphetamine lab at his residence, according to a press release.

Michael Casey Stewart, 2500 Old Spanish Trail, is charged with first-degree manufacturing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies were serving warrants in the Daphne area when they contacted Stewart at his residence, Maj. Anthony Lowery stated. Stewart gave consent to search his residence. The search yielded a meth lab, approximately two grams of finished methamphetamines and $300.

Also arrested was Carla Covington of Mobile, who faces the same counts.
