DAPHNE, Ala.—The Daphne Police Department is seeking two white females who allegedly stole a wallet and fraudulently used the credit cards on March 11 around 5 p.m., according to a news release.

The two women sought by police were seen in surveillance videos using a stolen credit card to purchase an XBOX game console, valued at $200, from Gamestop and $80 worth of gas at the Jubilee Shell Station near the Jubilee Square Shopping Center, police stated.

The credit card used in the crime was stolen from a purse inside the employee break room at Pier 1 Imports store in the Jubilee mall, police said.

Cpl. Jason Vannoy said the police department does not have many leads in this case.

“We can tell from the video that the vehicle is a white Chevy Suburban that looks like an early 90s model,” he said.

The crime occurred on March 11, but the photograph of the suspects was just released because the victim was not aware of the fraudulent use until the credit card statement came in the mail, Vannoy said.

The suspects will face charges of property theft and fraudulent use of a credit card, Vannoy said, which are both class C felonies.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact the case agent, Cpl. Jason Vannoy at the Daphne Police Department, 251-621-2839 ext. 220.
