DAPHNE, Ala.— Hear those sleigh bells jingling? It’s Santa Claus, and he is coming to the Daphne Public Library on Thursday, Dec. 18 from 6 to 8 pm.

Join him in the Library Community Room, if you like, as he shares his favorite stories. Parents can bring their cameras for photos.

Two sessions of stories and photo opportunities will be available, at 6 and 7 p.m. During each session, Santa will read a story in the Community Room, and then he will adjourn to the Board Room (across the hall) where the children will line up for photos on Santa’s knee.  There will be hot cocoa and treats and there will be lots of Santa’s helpers to direct you and to hand out numbers for the line up.  The numbers will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis for photos with Santa.

Children are invited on Friday, Dec. 12, 3:45 to 5:45 p.m., in the Library Community Room for “Make and Take” Christmas Gift session.

This come-and-go gift craft session also includes gift bags.

All events are free.
