Bohemian La Productions LLC has announced the return of its signature event "An Evening with Freddie Mercury," scheduled for Dec. 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Belforest Pointe in Daphne.

Tickets and sponsorships are now available, with proceeds benefiting local efforts to promote HIV and AIDS education and awareness.

Now in its third year, the traveling event features Peter Freestone, who served as Freddie Mercury’s personal assistant for the last 12 years of the Queen frontman’s life. Freestone will lead a short program on the global HIV crisis and sign copies of his books, including a newly released cookbook featuring Mercury’s favorite recipes.

The evening will also include a screening of the documentary "The Great Pretender." Doors open at 3:30 p.m. and the film begins at 5 p.m. Attire is business casual. The venue is located at 26503 AL-181 in Daphne.

Bohemian La Productions, founded in 2015, creates documentaries and supports charitable work aimed at education and awareness. Through national and international events, the company brings attention to issues surrounding HIV and AIDS while keeping all proceeds within host communities.
