DAPHNE, Ala.—The Daphne United Methodist Church will hold its “Christmas Bazaar” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Community Life Center on the church’s campus. Admission to the annual event is free.

The event will have a manger, where children can get their pictures taken in the symbolic manger scene, church secretary Margie Davis said.

“We’ll be having arts and crafts, a silent auction, Christmas cookies for sale, Christmas story time, face painting, games and vendor booths.”

The vendor booths will comprise a variety of items people can buy, and some will be Christmas-themed.

There will also be food and funnel cakes.

All proceeds raised from the event will benefit local families in need and the Saving Grace Home for Women.

The bazaar isn’t the only event the Daphne church is hosting.

The church will have a Christmas Cantata at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Dec. 12; it is a musical program of Christmas songs in the Community Life Center.

The church will also have its annual Christmas Eve services at 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 24. The 4 p.m. service will be for children, and the later two will be candle-lighting services.
