Kathryn Walton Mozer of Daphne received her bachelor’s degree at Lyndon State College commencement May 18.
Mozer earned a Bachelor of Science in meteorology, American meteorology society, broadcasting track and a Bachelor of Arts in pure mathematics and applied mathematics. During pre-commencement activities, she was named to the Arthur B. Elliot Honor Society. She was also named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—More than 400 students were named to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the 2007-08 school year at Birmingham-Southern College. Each student earned a 3.5 or better grade-point average while taking four full units of credit during each of the fall and spring semesters.
Birmingham-Southern is a four-year private institution.

Andrew V. Stephens of Daphne is one of 518 students participating in the Cooperative Education Program at Mississippi State University. After completing his third work semester with Citgo Petroleum Corp in Lake Charles, La., Andrew will return to Mississippi State campus to complete requirements toward a degree in chemical engineering.
The MSU Cooperative Education Program is available to students in agriculture and life sciences, architecture, arts and sciences, business and industry, education, engineering and forest resources. This program allows the student to receive a college education as well as practical experience in his chosen field of study.
