David Wayne McGhee, age 50, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 at his residence.
He was a supervisor at Standard Furniture Manufacturing Company. He is survived by one son, David Jared McGhee of Bay Minette; one daughter, Heather Marie McGhee of Bay Minette; his parents, Carol and Ernest Cooley of Bay Minette; two brothers, Royce McGhee of Fairhope and Tommy Cooley of Gulf Shores; two sisters, Chris Yarbrough of Bay Minette and Brenda Vick of Magnolia Springs and three grandchildren, Lacie Elaine McGhee, David Riley McGhee and Jaxon Heath Quinn. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie McGhee and the Rev. Bill Lutz officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Earl Crook, Marion Godwin, Brian Roberts, Hayden McGhee, Terry Perkins and Brandon Perkins. Funeral arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home.
