David Wesley Frisk, 48, of Silverhill died March 23, 2012 in his home of natural causes. Born July 19, 1963, in Oxnard, Calif., he was a 1981 graduate of Jonesboro High School in Arkansas and attended Arkansas State University.
Mr. Frisk was a carpenter by trade. He loved golf and music. In high school and college, David was an accomplished pole-vaulter and cross-country runner.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Frisk, Silverhill; daughter, Haley Frisk Stanley, Birmingham; father, John Frisk, Jonesboro, Ark.; mother and stepfather Charlotte and Del Layne of Orange Beach; sister, Sabrina Stanley, Birmingham; and stepbrother Rusty Layne of Pensacola, Fla.
A memorial service will be at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31. His ashes will be interred in Arkansas at a later date.
