David Wesley Rabren Jr., 15, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Alexander City.

He was a student in 10th grade at Baldwin County High School. He was a member of the high school marching and jazz bands and Key Club, and also a second-degree black belt at North Baldwin Taekwondo Center.

He is survived by his mother, Terri Lynn Chancery of Perdido; a sister, April Michelle Rabren of Cape Charles, Va.; his grandfather, Robert N. Chancery of Perdido; his niece, Marjorie Alice Rabren and his sister-in-law, Carrie Rabren, both of Cape Charles, Va.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Wesley Rabren Sr.; and his grandmother, Lois Chancery.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Angelo Thomley officiating.

Burial will follow at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 27, 2015, from 6 until 9 p.m., at First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baldwin County High School Marching Band, c/o Jeffrey Lepa, 1 Tiger Dr., Bay Minette, AL 36507.
