David Winston Coker, 85, native of Huxford, Ala. and a longtime resident of Daphne, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014.
David was a U.S. Army/Navy veteran. He was the owner of White’s Home and Auto in Robertsdale and Coker Citrus Farm.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rita Coker of Daphne; four daughters, Sheila (Jody) Miniard of Silverhill, Rachel (Vince) Keith of Summerdale, Gretchen (Mike) Kosek of Daphne and Susan (Bryan) Rayborn of Daphne; a sister, Patricia (Robert) Harvey of Bay Point, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 10 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass.
Interment will follow at Belforest Catholic Cemetery.
