David Worth Bowman V, 68, a native of Memphis, Tennessee and a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017.
David was a member of 3 Circle Church, a U.S. Navy veteran, a former assistant chief administrative officer for the city of Memphis and currently the business manager at Stone, Granade & Crosby law firm.
Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Kay Pera.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Donna Kelly Bowman of Daphne; their two daughters, Beth Carpenter (Chris) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mary Allyson Battaglia (Chuck) of Daphne; six grandchildren, Canaan and Colton Carpenter, Trey Johansen, Salvatore, Conner and Samuel Battaglia; one brother, Brett Bowman (Tanya) of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Beverly Culpepper (Shannon) of Odessa, Florida, Barbara Eckel (Matt) of Perry, Florida;
nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, from 5 until 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at 2 p.m.
Interment will follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley, Alabama.
