Sonya Rene Walley Thrasher Day, 45, a native of Pascagoula, Miss., and a resident of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile.
She was employed by Wal-Mart.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel H. Day of Pine Grove; three children, Heather (Randy) White, Heaven (J.T.) Graham and Curtis Stracener, all of Pine Grove; her mother, Kay Morgan of Birmingham; her father, David Walley of Mobile; sister, Kristina Johnson of Birmingham; five brothers, David Morgan of Pensacola, Fla., Jamie Morgan of Oklahoma, Trent Walley of Mobile, Mike Mosley of Litcifield, Ariz., and Tyler Mosley of Orlando, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Angel Marie Stacey, Joshua Thomas Graham and Alicia Malene White.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. James Long officiating. Burial will follow at Bankester Cemetery in Stapleton.
The pallbearers will be Robert Gilliam, Robbie Lilly, Charlie Phillips, Robert Walters, Kevin Caprara and John Trimble.
Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
