or economic loss as a result of the Oil Spill may be able to
participate in the February 2012 trial by either hiring an attorney
to file a claim in the litigation or by personally filing a
court-approved “short form” by April 20
."font-size: 11.5pt">The Short Form is available through the
Attorney General’s Office by calling 1-800-831-8814 or visiting

There is no filing fee and a lawyer is not required to file the
Short Form. However, it is possible the court will impose a common
benefit fee to all successful plaintiffs, and anyone needing legal
advice regarding their legal rights or about filing this short form
should contact an attorney.
