Deborah Diane Marino, 64, born in Kansas City, Mo. and longtime resident of Fairhope, passed away, Friday, July 31, 2015 in a local hospital.

Early in her life, the study of mathematics was always a favorite of hers, inspiring her to become a high school math teacher. After retiring from the Chamber in 2007, she became a partner in GoodBooks Bookkeeping Services.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Melva Marino.

Surviving are her longtime companion, Robin R. Smitherman, Fairhope; her siblings, Mike (Judy) Marino, Overland Park, Kan., Marcia (Linda Berez) Marino, Milwaukee, Wisc. and Greg (Margaret) Marino, Leavenworth, Kan.; her niece, Lauren Marino, Washington, D.C.; and her furry family, her beloved cats, Captain America and Maybellene.
