Debra Joy Phillips, 46, a native and lifelong resident of Daphne, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010.

Her legacy is her children and they are a reflection of how she lived her life. She adored them and always put them and her husband before herself. She loved life and had a deep love of God. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, and anyone who did knows she never met a stranger. She always had such an outpouring of love for her family and we will miss her so very, very much.

Survivor include her husband, Ronnie Phillips of Daphne; two daughters, Jessica (Cory) Brown of Daphne and Jacey Phillips of Daphne; two sons, Joshua (Ellen) Phillips of Tuscaloosa and Jamison (Rachel) Phillips of Daphne; grandchildren, Hayden, Lillian, Tayler and Reese; her mother, Wanda Martin of Daphne; her father, Wayne Wilson of Daphne; three sisters, Renee (Mike) Cook of Belforest, Diana (Randy) Vinson of Spanish Fort and Delisa (Matt) Cunningham of Daphne; brother, David (Denise) Wilson of Foley; a host of nieces and nephews who adore her; many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16 at Eastern Shore Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Daphne Baptist Cemetery.
