Grady Shirley Dees, 92, a native of Peterman and a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, March 19, 2010 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
He retired from Kaiser Aluminum as a mechanic and was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Monzee Eubanks Dees.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Dees (Buster) Watson of Bay Minette; adopted granddaughter, Denise Eubanks; four step-grandchildren, Billy Watson, Donna Watson, Delorise Watson Cox, Jeffery Watson; other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 22 at Community of Christ Church with Elders Sharon Clark and Kay Foster officiating. Burial with military honors by the U.S. Navy honor guard will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Billy Ray Eubanks, Ray Eubanks, Joe Durant, Roy Dees, Larry Dees and Matthew Dees. Honorary pallbearer is Bobby Eubanks.
