This obituary announces the passing of the much beloved Delma C. Clifford.
Delma was born in Guide Rock, Neb. on Aug. 10, 1923 and, at age 90, was the last survivor of a family which included two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob); daughter, Gail of Fairhope; and many nieces and nephews throughout the country.
An active church member all her life, she played the piano, sang in the choir, worked in the kitchen and was generally available for any task.
She loved life, friends and relatives, and enjoyed activities such as golf, clog dancing, motor-homing and “doing something” for others.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at the chapel of Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made in Delma’s name to Covenant House of New Orleans, 611 N. Rampart St., New Orleans, LA 70112-3505, or to a charity of your choice.
