Delores “Lois” Mae Godwin, 75, a native of Rosinton and a resident of Spanish Fort, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Jernigan of Spanish Fort; three sons, Terry (Rebecca) Godwin of Robertsdale, Wayne Jernigan and Stewart Ramsay, both of Pensacola, Fla.; three daughters, Kim (Jon) Gullixon and Kellie (Stan) Taylor, both of Spanish Fort, and Nicole (Mike) Hands of Gulf Shores; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, George Wilson of Stapleton, Pete Wilson of Bay Minette and Roger Wilson of Orange Beach; and four sisters, Sherry Falcone of Stapleton, Patricia Hunter of Loxley, Linda Schreckengast of Daphne and Betty Stanford of Loxley.

Funeral services and visitation were held Sunday, Aug. 29 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Interment followed at Wilson Cemetery, Spanish Fort.

Arrangements were made by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Daphne.
