Dennis Crandel Sheehan, age 84, born in Megargel, Ala., and a resident of Bay Minette, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012 at his residence.
He was a maintenance mechanic for Mundy Maintenance in Houston, Texas and for Alpha Chemical in Parish, Calif. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Aleen (Hudson) Sheehan of Bay Minette; two sons, Dennis C.(Chris) Sheehan,Jr. of Atlanta and Paul Sheehan of Monroeville; two daughters, Diane Greenwood and Janet Perryman both of Palm Springs; one sister, Virginia Duncan of Mobile; seven grandchildren, Mike Sheehan, Brenda Edwards, Bridget Sheehan, Amber Barlow, Breeze Sheehan, Kendal Leigh Sheehan and Tyler Perryman; ten great- grandchildren, Ashley, Dennis Michael, Devon, Christopher, Daniel, Bruce Michael, Brittney, Jake, Savannah and Avery and four great-great-grandchildren, Serenity, Dennis Michael, III, Nevaeh and Vylius. The funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 from noon until the 2 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, 402 E. 2nd St., Bay Minette.
