Dennis E. Palmer Sr., 66, of Gulf Shores, passed away Feb. 9, 2015.
He was retired from the United States Marine Corps, having reached the rank of gunnery sergeant.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Palmer.
He is survived by his mother, Eloise Simmeracher of Ohio; a son, Dennis (Kimberly) Palmer Jr. of Bay Minette; two daughters, Pamela (Howard) Horn of Hattiesburg, Miss. and Kim (Jerry) Fuller of Wylie, Texas; two sisters, Becky Clark of Ohio and Connie Summers of Ohio; a brother, David Palmer of Massachusetts; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held March 12, 2015, at 2 p.m., from Calvary Church in Foley.
