ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — It was a long day — starting at 7 a.m. with the first patient and ending at 6 p.m. with the last one — but Robertsdale Dental Care helped 124 Baldwin County residents on Friday with the 5th Annual “Dentistry With A Heart.”

Alyssa Hoekstra, clinic administrator, said the first patient was in line at 10 p.m. on Thursday night and by 8:30 a.m. they had already registered 135 people and got up to 152 by noon.

“We had to actually turn away about 20 people at 2 p.m. We hated having to do that but overall it was a great day and lots of fun. (Robertsdale Dental Care owner Dr. Jason) Northcutt’s brother does one of these days in October so the ones who didn’t get to be seen this time can go to Fairhope in October for that one.” Hoekstra said.
