Derwood Reed Crowe, age 79, born in Kilgore, Texas and a resident of Silverhill Ala., died in Fairhope, Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012.
Crowe was predeceased by his wife, Mary E. Crowe; parents, Reedy and Marjorie Davis Crowe; brother, Ronald and children, Jimmy and Louise. He is survived by daughters, Margaret (Eric) Peterson of San Francisco, Calif.; and Diane (John) McDuffie of Foley; son, Arnold (Lettie) Odom of West Monroe, La; brother, Jack (Gayle) Crowe of Orlando, Fla; two sisters, Marjorie (Robert) Hampton of Tom Bean, Texas and Cory (Phillip) Brunson of League City, Texas; four granddaughters, Lauren and Jessica Dyer both of San Francisco, Calif.; Nicole Odom of S. C. and Brittany Odom of West Monroe, La; one grandson, Josh Odom of West Monroe, La., and one great-granddaughter, Skylar Odom of West Monroe, La. Funeral services will be held Wednesday Nov. 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Mack Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Silverhill Cemetery.
