Patricia Cummings “Patty” Dewberry, 65, a native of Mobile and a resident of Fairhope for the past 10 years, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008.
Her life was centered around her children and grandchildren and she was a loving sister and dedicated friend.
She worked for almost 20 years as a GED instructor at Faulkner State Community College and was an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Chamberlain and Aleta (Mike) Dasinger, both of Daphne; a son, Steven (Patricia) Dewberry of Stapleton; two brothers, Thomas (Inez) Cummings of Orange Park, Fla., and Charles (Nancy) Cummings of Auburndale, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Dalton, Chloe, Jackson, Noah and Garrett.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with a A Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Paul’s Building Fund or Covenant Hospice.
