Three students received this year’s Alabama Municipal Electric Authority/Riviera Utilities scholarship.
Each recipient will receive $2,500 to assist with tuition and fees required at any two-or four-year, in-state college or university. The scholarships are designed to encourage academic achievement by students in the member’s cities of the Alabama Municipal Electric Authority.
A recipient must be from a family who receives electrical service from Riviera Utilities. Economic Development for the state and for AMEA member cities requires an educated work force with the ability to handle the high tech requirements of today’s businesses and industry.
Riviera extends its congratulations to Jordan Hullett and Greg Resomondo from Foley High School and Jonathon Pruitt from Daphne High School.
