MOBILE, Ala. — HandsOn South Alabama offering a two-day Disaster Training Workshop for nonprofit agencies, faith-based organizations and interested community volunteers who respond to disasters in their community. The training is open to the public and will be held on June 5-6 at the American Red Cross offices in Mobile. Participants can register for one or both days of the training, and lunch will be provided both days. “We are pleased to be able to offer this educational and networking opportunity for community agencies and volunteers who respond to disasters. We are promoting the event all across the Gulf Coast and hope to have attendees from across the region,” said Diana Brinson, executive director of HandsOn South Alabama.
