FAIRHOPE, Ala. — In order to minimize pet over-population and reduce euthanasia as a means of animal control, pet owners are encouraged to spay/neuter.
The Baldwin County Humane Society (BARC!) is the only agency providing a low-cost spay/neuter program for all of Baldwin County.
This is the final week of their fifth annual Spring Kitten Prevention (SKP) Program to get your cat spayed or neutered for $30.
This is BARC’s fifth year to do this promotion in conjunction with two dozen vets in Baldwin County, who share the goal of bringing an end to pet overpopulation.
BARC! has 145 vouchers remaining to sell by March 31.
People can go to the BARC! office at 306 Magnolia Ave in Fairhope, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday thru Thursday, or can download the forms at www.baldwinhumane.org then call 251-928-4585 with their credit card information.
