GULF SHORES AND ORANGE BEACH, ALA. – Forget the February frost and head to the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Welcome Centers throughout the month for a series of exciting demonstrations beginning Feb. 1.

“With a great turnout for our January demonstrations, guests will be able to catch a glimpse of the host of activities our coastal community has to offer through an extended series,” said Joanie Flynn, vice president of marketing for Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism. “We are incredibly grateful for our winter guests and are delighted to share a unique view of our area with them.”

Throughout the February series, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach guests can look forward to learning about businesses and attractions on Alabama’s coast. Guests will be exposed to a variety of coastal attractions including the historic sights and sounds of Fort Morgan, USS Alabama and the National Museum of Naval Aviation as well as the incredible wildlife of Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge.

Additionally, the cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach will have informational displays and answer guests’ questions about city events and resources in each welcome center. If attendees are interested in breaking in their irons during their stay, the Gulf Shores Golf Association will provide advice to best fit individual golfing needs. PNC Bank will also be spotlighted during the month. For an updated schedule of demonstrations, contact or visit the welcome centers.
