Doris Malone Doar, 88, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Gulf Shores, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009 at a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank S. Doar, Jr.
Survivors include two sons, Tom (Sharon) Doar of Wichita, Falls, Texas, and Darryl R. (Teresa) Doar of Gulf Shores; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Private Inurnment services will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Fla.
