Donald “Don” Ray Westwood, 64, a native of Gillespie, Ill. and a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Westwood.
Don proudly served his country in the United States Navy, from June 1968 to retirement in January 1990.
He was president and co-founder of Rolling Thunder Alabama Chapter 1.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Joanne Westwood of Spanish Fort; sons, Jason (Liz) of Bay Minette and Daniel (Taylor) of Daphne; grandchildren, Kadence and Hudson; brother, Mike (Pam) Westwood of San Antonio, Texas; and his mother, Billie Westwood of Gillespie, Ill.
Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, from 5-7 p.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at 10 a.m., at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.
Interment will follow at 11:30 in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
